All events take place on Amelia Island, centered around The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island and nearby venues.

Dress Code & Weather

What is the dress code?

Black Tie

Men: Black suit with a jacket and tie
Women: Long black dress or formal black attire

The ceremony will be outdoors, and June on Amelia Island is typically warm and humid (mid-80s with a coastal breeze).

We want this to feel fun and elevated, so feel free to incorporate sparkles, dark patterns, unique textures, satin, velvet, or anything chic.

Travel Information

Which airport should I fly into?

Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) — ~30 minutes from Amelia Island

Orlando Sanford International (SFB) — ~2 hours away, often has affordable Allegiant nonstop flights

How do I get from the airport to Amelia Island?

A rental car is the most reliable option.
Uber/Lyft availability varies and may be limited on the island.

Lodging

Where should guests stay?

You are absolutely welcome to stay at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island, where the wedding will take place, but please don’t feel any pressure to do so. The Ritz is a beautiful option, but we fully expect most guests to stay at nearby hotels that are just as convenient and much more affordable.

Here are our recommended hotels, all 3–5 minutes from the wedding events:

Home2 Suites – Amelia Island - Approx. $180–$230 per night
Residence Inn Amelia Island - Approx. $190–$260 per night
Courtyard Amelia Island - Approx. $190–$260 per night
The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island - Approx. $500 per night

All options are very close to the ceremony and dinner locations, making any of them great choices depending on your preferences and budget.
